So, after another long hiatus, I've decided to start some work on the site again.

But before I get started, I've acquired a dedicated server for the site which will not only make the site a whole lot faster, but also allow me to do things I have otherwise been unable to do here hosting with "GoDaddy.com".  Don't get me wrong, GoDaddy is quite reliable, but is too restricted.

 
On my immediate list of updates, improvements, etc. are:

1) Messages / Mail overhaul - needs to be completely rewritten from scratch.  It's ugly right now, and just doesn't really work right.  And I'll put this nice little wysiwyg editor in there as well.

2) Profiles, need some additional personal info and just needs a better layout that exists right now.

3) Profile editing and home page...needs to be fixed up/rewritten.

4) Restaurant finder / rating - I think this would be a welcome addition to VegSpace.com

5) Dating section of the site, a fully featured system...

6) INSTANT MESSAGING and CHAT!!!! - actually this will probably come before the restaurant and dating thing...we'll see.  We used to have both chat and instant messaging, but I'll make this one even better.  I just need to brush up on my Flash and action script before I get back into the swing of things.
